Rabies is life threatening, but protecting your pets and your family from the disease gets expensive.
Guilford County, NC — The Guilford County Department of Public Health is offering reduced cost shots for your pets every Saturday through October.
About 300 animals got their $5.00 shots at the Summerfield fire station.
Animal control officers say the shots are especially important if you live in rural areas.
