Pet Poodle Play Dead: Rare Sleeping Ailment
A 11-pound toy poodle, Skeetre, has had his best dreams turned into its worst nightmares, was diagnosed this month with narcolepsy.
That’s a rare condition that causes the five-year-old dog to go from being awake straight into a deep sleep.
Eating, going for a walk, or even sniffing another dog knocks Skeeter out cold.
And his symptoms have gotten progressively worse.
A veterinarian has put Skeeter on human medication, Ritalin and an anti-depressant, in hopes of restoring Skeeter to his normal routine.
