Great Tasting Pet Meds Lessens Headache For Owners
Due to bad taste sometimes your pets do not want to swallow medicine.
Pharmacists Harold and Kenneth Kramm did some research and found that flavored medicine works as well for pets as for people.
Kramm dispenses his flavored pet meds from his pet pharmacy, Apothepet.
Veterinarians such as Dr. Lee Morgan said that flavoring pet medicine seems so obvious, it’s a wonder no one did it sooner. Nonetheless, he thinks the flavored pet meds fill a major veterinary need.

I tried Apothepet for my cat Penny. Penny has a seizure disorder and has to take phenobarbital once a day. It’s a nightmare giving these tablets to her. The Vet showed me how to “pill” her but I’m embarrassed to say I can’t get her to take them. She has bitten and scratched me to death.
I actually saw a story on one of the news stations around here about Apothepet and thought it was interesting but didn’t have a pen to write down their number and then I kind of forgot about it. Then I thought of looking them up on the internet and got their number.
My Vet called in the prescription to them and they made Penny’s Phenobarbital in a tuna flavor and had it delivered to my front door the next day. I couldn’t believe it and their price was less then I was paying my pharmacy for the tablets.
She now looks forward to taking her Tuna medicine. When she hears the fridge open up she comes running.
If anybody else is having this same problem (I can’t be the only person too dumb to pill a cat) give this place a try. It really works.
