Pet Dogs May Help Staff Quit Smoking
A Firm has employed a pet dog - to help staff quit smoking.
They take cocker spaniel Rupert for a 10- minute stroll instead of having a fag break.
Steven Street, boss at Relay Recruitment in Bradford, said: “He’s an important team member. He also helps lower stress levels and I can’t imagine work without him.”
He brought in Rupert after the Government’s decision to ban workplace smoking by 2008.
Rupert rests on a director’s chair between walks.
There’s a waiting list for staff who want to take him home at weekends.
