Pet Crow And Its Little Master
It had fallen out of its nest and Roger took it home and raised it, and he had it for seven years.. The crow became a popular figure around Menard. Roger said it was a wonderful pet.
Roger never coop him up. He just let him go where he wanted to go. If he wanted to leave, he could leave. If he wanted to stay, he could stay.
He learned a lot from that crow. He learned about love between a bird and its master.
The crow could able to catch things, could talk and do this and that, all sorts of things, He used to chase buzzards. He’d fly up to where they were and put them on the ground. He chased bulldogs and ran them crazy.
