Lucky a Three Legged Pooch Needs Home
She can find the comfortable spot on a couch in seconds. And her furry stub of a tail wags at the site of, well, anybody.
The estimated 6-year-old Beagle mix might be considered anything but lucky by people standards. She came to the Animal Welfare League shelter in Port Charlotte with three legs and a heavily clouded eye due to a cataract.
But Lucky appears happy and eager to play with anyone who even looks her way. She does not seem to notice her little hobble or the soft, furry stump where her leg should be.
According to workers at AWL, Lucky is a sweet dog with a great disposition who needs someone willing to give her a chance.
Aside from the cataract, the small dog is healthy and available for adoption.
For more information, call the shelter at 941-625-6720.
