Insurance is a Pet Owner’s Best Friend
ONE in three pets will make an unexpected visit to the vet each year. With such medical costs rising 10-12 per cent per year, insurance is vital.
Even more worrying is the potential cost of a third-party liability claim. Edinburgh-based Tesco Personal Finance paid out more than £40,000 when a dog knocked a driver off a motorbike, causing serious injury. In another case, it paid more than £20,000 to someone bitten by a dog.
