Have you ever seen a man jogging with a pet rooster?
I have luckily found him at http://blogs.inquirer.net, he is non other than 78 years old Felipe Obrince.
Almost every morning, if the weather permits you will find Obrince is jogging with his pet rooster - Robibhood
(his fourth Pet), around the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) campus.
Obrince is a master of unusual pets. He says that he always wanted to be different, and never wanted to be a copy cat, so gradually he developed fondness for unusual pets.
Training a goat, a pig, and a rooster was never a headache for him because he knew the secret in making his unusual pets obey his orders.
He always start their training early. He started Robinhood, for instance, when it was still, a chick.
But training pets was not really his intention all he wanted was to enjoy a jog with them. So he have them jog with him. The honest desire of companionship, somehow fetched more than what he wanted.
He said that his talented and unusual pets were not only mere companions but his prized possessions.
At the age of 78, he still wants to continue training new and unusual pets. He plans to train a deer someday, and make them follow and unafraid of people.
